From the time Olivia was young, there was always something about going to a salon that just felt special to her. Maybe it was all the time spent with her grandma getting her hair set weekly, or just getting a small haircut — it didn’t matter. She always enjoyed the sense of confidence it seemed to bring people, and the way stylists seemed to have a way to make you feel like a million bucks.
She’ll never forget that special feeling when she was 14 and her godmother took her to get highlights for her birthday. It seems like such a simple thing, and looking back on it — there probably weren’t even that many foils on her head! But it was more than simplicity — it was the confidence she felt walking out that door, and how beautiful she felt with that fresh color and cut. Simply put, it was magic.
When Olivia set out to open her own salon, she wanted to create a space where that one word came to mind: magic. A salon is not just a salon - it’s a sacred space for all kinds of kinds. It’s where you get to escape your day-to-day stresses, relax for a moment, chat with others if you want, or scroll on your phone if you need some downtime. But above all, a salon is a place where your self-love comes first, and your confidence in your own beauty is the first priority. And that is how The Mane Studio came to be.
The Mane Hair Studio exists to create magic in the beauty industry of Northeast Ohio (and beyond!) all while elevating expectations of every mane who walks through our little pink door.
